The Administrative Department is under the supervision of the City Clerk Lynn Porter. The business office is located at City Hall and is open Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and Friday: 7:30 am – 1:00 pm

All questions related to court or other matters concerning the operations of the city should be directed to our main office at 205-467-6133 or 205-467-6135.

All accounts payable and payroll questions should be addressed to Lynn Porter at (205) 467-6134.

All alcohol or tobacco licenses, business licenses, annexations, Mayor and City Council correspondence should go through the City Clerk, Lynn Porter. Her direct number is (205) 467-6134.

The Springville City Council consists of a Mayor elected at large with seven council members elected by districts.

The City Council holds regular council meetings on the first and third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. A work session may be held prior to the meeting at 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. These meetings are held at the Council Chambers located at 160 Walker Drive. Schedules may change due to holidays or other reasons. A notice will be posted.

The procedure for being placed on the agenda is to call 467-6133 by noon on Wednesday before the scheduled council meeting. Please leave your name, phone number and reason to be placed on the agenda. This allows time for the council packages to be prepared.
